| Physical | Reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without help; sit in a jumpseat and fasten the harness without extenders; adequate cabin head clearance. |
| Appearance | No visible tattoos in uniform or training unless covered by approved methods (not bandages or fashion sleeves). One earring per lobe. No facial piercings. No decorative dental gems. |
| Flexibility | Willing to attend unpaid DFW training and report to an assigned base. |
Reapply
Official FAQ: if the application is denied or withdrawn, wait one year from the date of the last communication, and only when a new trainee opening exists. If you do not answer a training-class invitation within three days, the application is withdrawn — wait six months. jobs.aa.com leftover listings still say “six months and one day” and “twelve months and one day.” Until the Wings follows the FAQ (checked 20 Sep 2026).
