The AON assessment
The assessment sits inside step one. You apply, you confirm eligibility, you take AON. Most of the volume never leaves this room.
American uses AON (often discussed as a work-style questionnaire plus numerical reasoning). Until the Wings will not reproduce live items. Recreating a copyrighted test is how you get both a bad score and a problem.
How to sit it
- Read every stem twice. Speed without accuracy is a filter, not a flex.
- Work-style items are looking for a safety professional, not a people-pleaser who bends rules to keep a cabin happy.
- Numerical items are basic: percentages, tables, time. Scratch paper is allowed in your house even if the airline cannot see it.
- Do not have a second adult coaching you on camera. Assume they can tell.
After you pass, watch email — including junk — for Meet Me. The 72-hour clock is real.
