How long after a denial or withdrawal?: Official: one year from the date of the last communication, and only when a new trainee opening exists.
I did not answer a class invitation in three days.: Official: the application is withdrawn. Wait six months to reapply.
I accepted a CJO, then I could not attend training.: The cafeteria does not have a settled answer. The FAQ does not spell out that case. Ask Recruiting in writing. Do not assume it is the same as a TBNT.
Is it six months or one year?: FAQ this cycle: one year after denied/withdrawn; six months after a missed class-invite reply. jobs.aa.com still shows both “six months and one day” and “twelve months and one day” on old listing text. That mix is why the group argues. Follow the FAQ and American’s last communication date.

The window

Does October 5 still stand?: Official careers page still says applications open Oct. 5. It has already slipped three times this cycle. Recheck the live page. Time of day is not posted.
They reopened. Was I rejected?: Not by itself. A current FA in the group: thousands apply when a window opens. A new requisition is not a TBNT letter.
Pending forever?: Official: high interest, it may take time, they email next steps. Floor: people have sat in “recruiting review” and later gotten a Meet Me invite.

Offer, training, bases

How long do I have to accept a CJO?: Official: electronic offer in 24–48 hours; accept within three days.
How do I prep for training?: Floor: daily study, sleep, ask early, do not spend a retest as a practice round. Exam counts in the group (50 questions, 80%) are reports, not a published standard.
Can a new hire get CLT?: The harvested thread did not answer. Official: assigned week 3. LAX and PHX are usually not initial. Plan to commute or to live somewhere else.
Pay from the group?: This harvest had no usable numbers. Use the pay page (contract rates) instead.
